  • Salim Ghouse was a veteran Indian actor, who is well-known for acting in several Hindi, English, and South Indian films and TV serials. The actor, apart from acting, was also a theatre director and a trained martial artist. He died on 22 April 2022, after suffering from a massive cardiac arrest.
  • Salim since childhood was interested in acting. After completing his graduation in Chennai, he went to Pune and took admission in the renowned Film and Television Institute of India.
  • In 1976, Salim made his debut with the film, Manthan: The Churning. In the film, he was given the role of Moola.
  • In 1978, he was given the role of a student, in the film, Swarg Narak.
  • In 1981, Salim played the character of Desai, in the film, Kalyug.
  • In the same year, Salim was given the role of Raghu in the film Chakra.
  • In 1982, Salim was offered a role in the film, Meri Kahani.
  • In 1982 itself, Salim played the role of a character named Tiger, in the film Partner.
